How does electrolysis work? |
| Electrolysis is
performed by inserting a small probe (about the size of a hair) into the hair
follicle. Then the hair follicle is treated with a small amount of heat in order to
kill the growth center, called the papilla.

| How long does it take to complete treatment? |

Approximately 70% of all hairs treated will permanently respond to
electrolysis. However, some hairs will require additional treatments.
It can take several months to completely treat an area. The
actual number of treatments will depend on your hormonal situation and prior
hair removal methods attempted.
